About the role
The Loop co. is looking for a strategic and holistic understanding person who is able to bring together development and operations. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be designing, building and testing functional systems in order to meet and improve our customers needs and experience. Therefore, you must have a clear understanding of various automation tools and be responsible for the increase of productivity in the workplace.
Essentials
- 3+ years of experience
- Manage a multi-site production infrastructure inc. design, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security
- Establish designs, configurations, and procedures for system and storage administration
- Respond rapidly to identify and resolve applications and infrastructure related faults
- Work with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Contribute to the design, scope, and implementation of new solutions for upcoming projects
- Utilise intelligent monitoring to deliver visibility on all areas of the systems infrastructure i.e.,availability, utilisation, and inventory
- Provide tools to support data driven decisions (Elastic Stack, Graphite, Grafana)
- Deliver highly available and reliable solutions (HAProxy, Keepalived)
- Optimise existing tools and processes
- Participate on-call rota to support out of hours’ emergency support and routine maintenance
Nice-to-have
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Administer Infrastructure services and OSS
